How to upload a backup to an iSCSI resource?
Xopero ONE allows you to save a backup on an iSCSI resource. We connect the iSCSI share to devices from which the data is to be saved on the selected share. The iSCSI share on each device should be available in the same path. This will significantly facilitate the configuration of the backup task, because we only need one warehouse in Xopero ONE for all devices.
Mounting the iSCSI resource on the example of Windows 10
Find and run the iSCSI Initiator.
Enter the IP address of the device where the iSCSI resource resides in the Targets tab > the Target field, then click Quick Connect.
The iSCSI Initiator searches for available iSCSI targets and adds them to the Discovered Targets list.
The target's status changes to Connected.
Go to the Computer Management window.
Go to the Disk Management section.
Look for a new disk in the list and then initialize it.
Create a local storage
Go to the Storages tab, and then select the Add storage button. In the form that appears, enter the local path for the iSCSI resource.
Defining a backup plan with the selected storage
Go to the Plans tab, then open the plan editing form. In the Backup storage section, click the Edit button.
Select the local storage to which the iSCSI resource has been attached, and then save the changes.
