This article is continuation of Opening a restore view article and describes the case of restoring Microsoft 365 accounts data including all the available features.
Selecting the backup plan
After choosing the user that you want to restore the backup of select the plan that included the data that needs to be recovered.
Selecting the backup version
Right after selecting the backup plan the system will display Backup copies section, where you can select the version of backup that you want to restore. Click on one of the displayed dates and then select button.
After doing so, the system will redirect you to Select data to restore aside.
Selecting the data to restore
Select data to restore aside in case of Microsoft 365 backups consists of 4 different tabs, including: Messages, OneDrive, Contacts and Calendars.
System gives you possibility to restore all of the data during one process or to select specific messages, files and parts of the data. If you want to restore all the data from specific backup version go straight to the #RESTORE chapter.
The Messages tab consists of a view, which lists all of your Microsoft 365 mailbox folders:
At this point you can select whole folder or multiple folders to restore, however you can more deeply into each folder and select single messages to restore.
By clicking on the button next to the message you can read the head of the message to make sure that it is exactly the one that you want to restore.
Additionally, Xopero One allows you to filter the messages using button. You can set filters to search for the messages sent from or sent to specific e-mail address, from specific date and even only the messages with attachments.
OneDrive restore view is as simple as restoring the files, it displays whole tree of directories and files that are available in backup copy. You can select whole directory or only a few files to restore.
Restoring the Contacts is not as complex as previously described options. In that case Contacts are restored as a whole, so all that needs to be done is to select them to include it in restore process.
Same as Contacts the Calendars are restored as a whole. To restore it make sure that the Calendar has been selected.
Restoring the data
In case if you want to restore everything included in the backup copy you can simply click button and if you also selected the specific parts of the data you can click button.
Both of these will open another window called Restore data, which by consists of 4 sections: Data to restore, Restore to, Restore directory and Device used to restore the data(optional).
Data to restore
This section gives you possibility to change your previous configuration of data that will be included in restore process. If you would like to change/add some data to restore process click Edit button.
That part allows you to select the destination of restore process and it comes with 2 options.
You can restore the data directly to one of the Devices assigned to Xopero One platform or to Microsoft 365 organization account, which can be different account from the same organization, but also an account from a different organization.
After selecting one of the options the system will automatically display a list of devices/Microsoft 365 organizations, which you can set as restore destination.
